Job Description

• Design and implement REST-based microservices in Ruby on Rails
• Play a critical role in all architecture, code, testing, and deployment decision
• Write automated tests for all services
• Experiment with new tools and plugins that can improve development speed, streamline testing procedures, and increase uptime

Requested skills

• Strong development skills, at least 3 years of experience writing server-side applications
• 1 year of experience in writing Ruby on Rail applications.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Working relational database/SQL experience
• Working experience with test-driven development and continuous integration
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Comfort with the Git branch/merge model

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Docker
• Knowledge of AWS
• Experience or interest in micro-services architecture.
